Virtual Tour of the Hospital

Wecome to Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic

CVC2.jpg

Welcome to our virtual tour!
Come on in!

You can see our clinic from the corner of Steele Lane and County Center Drive.  We are just across the street from Kings Chinese Restaurant.

Please have your pet on a leash or in a carrier when you arrive to prevent unexpected surprises!

Harvey Henningsen has done several professional family portraits of our clients and patients that you may see proudly displayed in our waiting room.

The front desk area is where you check in and out.  Our receptionist will gather the information the doctor needs on how your pet is feeling, what symptoms s/he is showing, what foods s/he eats, what flea control and heartworm control you are using, and any other medicines or supplements your pet may be on.

Gathering this detailed information is very important, (and it is crucial if you are planning to drop your
pet off) so be sure to allow a few extra minutes to answer questions before your appointment!

Our exam room has a comfy bench as well as a chair for your convenience while your pet is being examined. (We prefer that intact male dogs stay on leash in the exam room as they are more prone to "mark" Dr. Jordan's books etc. while exploring the room.

You will also see books and both western medications and Chinese herbs organized along the walls.

The prep area is where we do baths, shave downs, dentals, and other messy procedures, as well as getting patients prepared for surgery.

Our surgery suite is where we do spays, neuters, fix broken legs, remove tumors, repair injuries, and other sterile procedures. It is not uncommon to see us in caps, gowns, or gloves!

The kennel is where we keep boarders, our surgery patients recovering from surgery, and other patients who need special care.  It is often kept dimly lit to allow recovering patients to sleep.

Our pharmacy is where we store our nutritional supplements and various medications, and where we can compound medicines into liquids with special flavors like Grilled Tuna, Sardine Splendor, Moms Banana Bread, Chicken Pot Pie, Leapin' Licorice, Shrimp Coctail, or Scrumptious Peanut Butter!

Our in house laboratory allows us to do most bloodwork, fecals, skin scrapings, ear swabs, right here so you can get your pets results more quickly.  We also have access to several large commercial laboratories for the more unusual tests that need to be sent out.

We hope both you and your pet enjoy your visit with us, and we are always open to hearing both positive comments and suggestions for improvement!  You can even email comments to us by clicking on the link on the "contact us" page of this website.
