Emergency & Urgent Care
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
There are three emergency clinics in the Santa Rosa area:
- 575-5900 is Pet Care at the intersection of Fulton and Guerneville Road.
- 544-1647 is Redwood on Santa Rosa Ave in the Costco parking lot.
- 584-4343 is Animal Care Center in Rohnert Park.
It is always best to call before coming in so that an emergency team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
You can also call Dr. Jordan at home at 887-7295
We are available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our staff will work to "squeeze" your pet in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, we will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen, or we may be able to accept your pet as a drop off patient so you can go back to work. Please allow time for us to check your pet in properly so we have all the pertinant information before you leave -- especially how to get in contact with you!
Because a large number of veterinarians practice at Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic, we can care for many types of pets:
- Dogs
- Cats
- Rabbits
- Pocket Pets
- Pretty much anything with fur except tarantulas!
Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic operates an open hospital. This means that our team welcomes calm supportive owners to be with their animals during medical procedures, whether a simple vaccination, blood draw, or a minor surgery. Owners who are too worried to watch calmly are asked to wait out in the reception area as pets are very tuned in to their owners body language and we prefer our patients not to be stressed while we are working with them.
Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic accepts payment via cash, check, Mastercard, Discover, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic offers discounted services to senior citizens and local area rescue groups. Pre-approval is required to qualify for the rescue group discounts, please call us for more information.
